SITES ON
INDIVIDUAL CANADIAN WOMEN |
There are lots of
great sites out there on your favourite famous Canadian Women...mainly
about current celebrities in entertainment or sports. There are a few
pages dedicated to historical figures. Some information is tucked away in
web pages as part of a more general information site and it may take some
work to seek out just the right pages.
WARNING...be sure to use an
authoritative page...a page that is an "official" page of an
individual or has been developed by a solid organization
(i.e. Canadian Sports
Hall of Fame, a University or Library or an individual who is a true
researcher (i.e. a librarian, teacher, journalist, etc.)
Use a good
search engine like Google or Teoma or Yahoo or a
mega search engine like Dogpile and type in the name of the person
you are searching. |
