Barbara Frum (nee Rosberg) Born Niagara Falls, New York U.S.A. 1937 Died March 26, 1992. A mother of three children she also had a full career as  a multi media journalist.  She studied history at the University of Toronto and had her beginning  as a radio commentator in 1959. She wrote for numerous magazines, and was a host for the C. B. C.  Radio program  “As it happens” and  host of C. B. C. TV’s nightly current affairs program “The Journal”. She was Canada’s most respected and best-known interviewer. She received four ACTRA  (Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artists) Awards and in 1979 she received the Order of Canada.
