Barbara Frum (nee Rosberg) Born Niagara Falls, New York U.S.A. 1937 Died March 26, 1992. A mother of three children she also had a full career as  a multi media journalist.  She studied history at the University of Toronto and had her beginning  as a radio commentator in 1959. She wrote for numerous magazines, and was a host for the C.B.C.  Radio program  “As it happens” and  host of C.B.C. TV’s nightly current affairs program “The Journal”. She was Canada’s most respected and best-known interviewer. She received four ACTRA  (Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artists) Awards and in 1979 she received the Order of Canada.
